Beginning and Ending Your Rental Period
To ensure availability and provide the best delivery service possible, we ask that you order your rentals at least two days prior to the beginning of your project or event. Having lead time is always optimal, but our Des Moines providers can sometimes deliver portable toilet rentals the same day the order is placed.
Call ASAP Site Services directly when your project or event is over and you’re ready to end your rental period. We will discontinue billing and remove your rentals from your site. If you reach out to the carrier separately, billing will not be ended until we have been notified.
Your portable restrooms will be serviced by Des Moines providers once per week. Servicing includes cleaning and sanitizing each unit as well as restocking supplies and performing janitorial services. We will also pump out the tanks, transport the waste to a local wastewater facility, and dispose of it according to Des Moines regulations. You may order additional servicing for a cost if the once-per-week schedule does not meet your needs.
You will likely need authorization from the City of Des Moines and/or Polk County when placing your portable toilet rentals somewhere other than private property, such as the street or a public park. Likewise, the Des Moines government may require you to have a sanitation plan in place before granting a permit to hold an event or begin a commercial project.
Portable toilet rentals must be placed on even ground in an area with adequate lighting and easy access for servicing in Des Moines. Confirm that your site meets these standards before placing your order.
If one of your units falls over, you should immediately contact the Des Moines provider. They will send a driver to your location to assess the situation and make adjustments. Any damage incurred to your rental units or your event or project site is not ASAP Site Services’ responsibility.
