Roll-off dumpsters, open-top dumpsters that fit roll-off trucks for simple loading and unloading, are useful for a home remodel as well as all kinds of commercial requiring waste removal. They're typically used for disposal of large quantities of construction debris or landscaping material, but they're also great for general home cleanup, such as a garage cleanout. If you need for disposal of clean dirt, clean concrete, or similar recyclable materials that can't go in a standard unit, we also rent roll-off clean dirt and concrete dumpsters.
Considerations and Precautions
While you don't need permission to place a dumpster on private property, you may need a permit to place it in the street. Contact the Portland government before ordering dumpster rentals to learn more about their policies.
To protect your yard or driveway, we recommend placing a 4' x 8' sheet of plywood over any contact surface. Be careful not to place your dumpster rental on top of any sprinkler fixtures, as the weight may cause them to break. ASAP Site Services is not responsible for damage incurred to your driveway, yard, or other surfaces.
Roll-off dumpster rentals must be easily accessible to facilitate hauling/removal, and the top must be level—debris cannot extend beyond the dumpster's height. If your dumpster isn't ready when a driver arrives for pickup, you will be charged a dry run fee. We'll also add to your final bill if you need extra hauling or your weight exceeds the included tonnage.
Beginning and Ending Your Rental Period
Dumpster rental orders should be placed at least one day in advance of your preferred delivery date. We recommend scheduling your delivery the day before you'd like to start using your dumpster, as specific delivery times aren't guaranteed. When your rental period is complete, call ASAP Site Services directly. We'll pickup the dumpsters from your site and stop billing accordingly. If you contact a junk removal hauler separately instead, we'll continue to bill you for each day until we're notified.
If you need to cancel or make changes to your rental order, please call us with your receipt and order number at the ready. We must have at least one day's notice to make changes.
