Beginning and Ending Your Rental Period
As a best practice, we ask that you order your rentals at least two days before the start of your project or event. This window of time enables us to secure availability and optimize delivery. Although lead time is preferable, our providers may be able to accommodate same-day fulfillment of a porta potty order for a Detroit-based project.
When your project or event is over, call ASAP Site Services directly to discontinue your rental period. We will remove your rentals from your location and stop billing accordingly. If you contact the hauler separately, we’ll keep billing you until we’re informed.
Our providers in Detroit will service your porta potty rentals once a week. Servicing includes pumping out the tanks, cleaning and sanitizing each unit, and restocking supplies. Once we transmit waste to a local wastewater facility, it will be discarded according to Detroit regulations. If you find that you need additional servicing within a week’s time, you can order it for a fee.
Placing toilets on city or county property (the street, public parks, etc.) could require a permit. The Detroit government may ask that you provide a plan for portable toilet solutions before they’ll issue a permit for an event or commercial project. You will always be able to place your portable toilet rentals on private property.
Before ordering your portable toilet rentals, verify that your site is suitable for safe and accessible placement. An ideal placement area is on level ground, has sufficient lighting, and provides easy access for servicing.
If your Detroit porta potty rental gets in a fender bender and falls over, contact the Detroit provider immediately. A driver will be sent to your location to assess the situation and make adjustments. ASAP Site Services is not liable for any damages incurred to your rental units or your site. We do offer damage waivers if you are ordering a porta potty rental for a public event.
