Roll-off dumpsters, open-top dumpsters that fit roll-off trucks for simple loading and unloading, are useful for a home remodel as well as all kinds of commercial requiring waste removal. They're typically used for disposal of large quantities of construction debris or landscaping material, but they're also great for general home cleanup, such as a garage cleanout. If you need for disposal of clean dirt, clean concrete, or similar recyclable materials that can't go in a standard unit, we also rent roll-off clean dirt and concrete dumpsters.
Considerations and Precautions
Placing your roll-off dumpster on private property won't require a permit, but placing one on public property, like the street outside of your house or a commercial building, might. Contact your local municipality before placing your dumpster rental to make sure you have the proper permission.
Roll-off dumpsters are heavy whether or not they're loaded, so they can damage the ground beneath them if the proper precautions are not taken. We recommend placing a 4' x 8' sheet of plywood in your driveway and any other surface that will contact your rental to avoid damages. You'll also want to steer clear of placing your roll-off dumpster on top of sprinkler systems or other objects that may break under its weight. It's your responsibility to secure the area—ASAP Site services is not liable for any damage done to private or public property.
Your dumpster must be placed on a level surface and accessible by our haulers. In order to be hauled away, your dumpster must not be filled beyond the brim. If you aren't prepared when the provider comes for pickup or hauling, you will be charged a dry run fee. If your load exceeds the weight included with your rental, overage charges will apply to your bill.
Beginning and Ending Your Rental Period
It's best to place your rental order at least one day in advance of your project so you can be sure your dumpster is available when you need it. Your local provider will deliver your dumpster to your site and place it according to your instructions.
When you're ready for the hauler to pickup your roll-off dumpster and end your rental period, call ASAP Site Services directly. We'll end your billing cycle and coordinate with the hauler to pickup the dumpster from your property. If you arrange for removal without notifying us, we'll assume you're extending your rental period and continue to bill you.
