Roll-off dumpsters, open-top dumpsters that fit roll-off trucks for simple loading and unloading, are useful for a home remodel as well as all kinds of commercial requiring waste removal. They're typically used for disposal of large quantities of construction debris or landscaping material, but they're also great for general home cleanup, such as a garage cleanout. If you need for disposal of clean dirt, clean concrete, or similar recyclable materials that can't go in a standard unit, we also rent roll-off clean dirt and concrete dumpsters.
Considerations and Precautions
You shouldn't need permission to place a dumpster in a private yard or driveway, but it's likely you'll require one to place it in the street or on a public sidewalk. Contact the City of Austin before ordering a dumpster rental service to see if a permit is required.
We suggest covering any surface that will contact your dumpster with a 4' x 8' sheet of plywood for protection. Be careful not to place your dumpster on top of sprinklers or any other objects that may break under its weight. ASAP Site Services is not responsible for damages to your driveway, yard, or any other surfaces.
Your dumpster must be accessible and the top must be level when a driver comes for hauling—debris cannot extend beyond the height of the dumpster. If your dumpster isn't ready when the driver arrives, we'll add a dry run fee to your bill. We'll also apply additional charges if you require extra hauling or if your tonnage goes over the weight included in your quote.
Beginning and Ending Your Roll-Off Rental Period
Place your dumpster rental order at least one day in advance of your preferred delivery date. Specific delivery times aren't guaranteed, so we recommend scheduling delivery the day before you want to start using your dumpster so it will be available in the morning.
When you're ready to terminate your rental period, call ASAP Site Services directly, and not the number printed on the dumpsters. We'll pickup the rentals from your site and finalize your bill. If you contact a junk removal hauler separately, we'll continue to bill you for each day until we're notified.
